HPI Challenge ALL Asia Finals 2005

Are you ready to be the best in Asia & Oceania? Come to race with your HPI/HB.


Introduction
HPI Challenge All Asia Finals 2005 will be held in Japan! This is the festival of all radio control cars! The event gives you the real fun and thrill of a RC race fully to anyone irrespective of a beginner and an expert driver. The drivers from Asian countries also participate! Many gorgeous premiums are also prepared in the event. Enjoy HPI world.

 The place is Hamanako Garden Park in Shizuoka pref. Japan. Garden Park is located next to Hamamatsu Lake. Facilities near the lake also follows up stay, a restaurant, and a hot spring for not only drivers but also your family and friends.

Weather in Japan
The average temperature in October of Japan is 18.5℃ and the average humidity is 71%. The temperature of October is unstable since it is before winter. The temperature may decrease to about 10℃.
Who can participate?
Anybody who likes Radio Control can participate. Everybody in the world is welcome!
You may ask HPI distributor at your country for invitation and private.

One HPI Super Cleaner (9060) handed out free to oversea driver for the event use.
HPI does not let you go home empty-handed!!
Access
About 1 hour from Nagoya Station to Hamamatsu Station by JR Tokaido Shinkansen Train. Recommended airport is Nagoya Air Port. Nagoya Station is 30min by local train from the airport. HPI will pick all oversea drivers at Hamamatsu Station to Circuit. Please reserve a hotel near Hamamatsu Station.

Double entry of Sport class and Pro class is not allowed.
EP Sports and GP Sports, EP Sports and GP Pro, EP Pro and GP Sports, EP Pro and GP Pro are accepted.
“Sports Class” is for beginner drivers so that all oversea drivers are recommended to participate Pro class.

Qualify:
"Free Attack" in 15 or 20min(2rounds) and take the fastest one lap time.

Final:
1. Electric Powered Sports Class
All mains are 8 min final race.

2. Electric Powered Pro Class
All mains are 5 min final race.

3. Gas Powered Sports Class
A main is 20 min and others are 5 min final race.

4. Gas Powered Pro Class
A main is 20 min and others are 5 min final race.

5. Savage Challenge
Extreme Air two trials.

6. E-Zilla Challenge
5 min (no qualify)

7. Sprint Stage-D Challenge
30 min endurance, one final race only.

Rules
1. Electric Powered Pro Class

Car Specifications:
HPI/HB 1/10 scale touring car

Other Specifications :

(Parts)
- It can’t be used except the part made from HPI, Hot Bodies and Team Orion. However, the following parts from other brands useable:
Spur Gear, Pinion Gear, a tie rod (turn buckle), a rod end, a ball end, a servo saver, a screw, a washer, E ring, a nut, an antenna pipe, a body pin, a transmitter, a receiver, a servo, amplifier, the power supply for receivers, battery, weight, capacitor, the component for light kit, wires, various connectors, grease, oil, various tie laps, adhesives, component for body reinforcement
- Processing of RC parts is allowed as long as it keeps the original shape.
- The vehicles, which the race organiser judged “danger”, are not accepted.

(Body)
- HPI only. Cut line. Cutting off the body rear etc. is restricted.

(Wing)
- Although change of wing is accepted, it must not be wider than the body width.

(Weight)
- More than equal to 1500g(without transponder)

(Tire, Inner, Wheel)
- Use only controlled tires, inners and wheels. Processing of controlled parts is not accepted.
- HPI super cleaner (9060) is the only product possibly to maintain the tire surface. Any chemicals like oils, tractions are restricted.

(Motor)
Any other motor brushes and springs are not accepted other than supplies.

(Battery)
- 6 cells (7.2v)
- It has to be sold widely and a manufacture company name must be shown

(Connector)
- Change of connectors, such as amplifier, a motor, and a battery, and soldering are accepted.

- More than equal to 1500g(without transponder)

(Tire, Inner, Wheel)
- Use only controlled tires, inners and wheels. Any processing of controlled parts is not accepted.
- HPI super cleaner (9060) is the only product possibly to maintain the tire surface. Any chemicals like oils, tractions are restricted.

(Motor)
Any other motor brushes and springs are not accepted other than supplies.

(Battery)
- 6 cells (7.2v)
- It has to be sold widely and a manufacture company name must be shown.

body reinforcement, carburetor linkage, a carburetor return spring, a plug, a clutch, a clutch spring, one-way bearing.
- Processing of RC parts is allowed as long as it keeps the original shape.
- The vehicles, which the race organiser judged "danger" , are not accepted.

(Body)
- HPI only. Cut line, and cutting off the body rear etc. is restricted.

(Wing)
- Although change of wing is accepted, it must not be wider than the body width.

(Weight)
- More than equal to 1700g (without transponder)

(Tire, Inner, Wheel)
- Form tire only.
- HPI super cleaner (9060) is the only product possibly to maintain the tire surface besides sanding. Any chemicals like oils, tractions are restricted.

(Engine)
- 18 or less size. The manufacturer and the modification are not limited.

(Muffler)
- A run of muffler non-equipped vehicle is not accepted.


4. Gas Powered Sports Class

Car Specifications:
1/10 scale touring car HPI Nitro RS4 3 series

Other Specifications:
(Parts)
- No limits.
- The vehicles, which the race organiser judged "danger", are not accepted.

(Body)
- HPI only. Cut line, and cutting off the body rear etc. is restricted.

(Wing)
- Although change of wing is accepted, it must not be wider than the body width.

(Weight)
- More than equal to 1700g (without transponder)

(Tire, Inner, Wheel)
- Use only controlled tires, inners and wheels. Processing of controlled parts is not accepted.
- HPI super cleaner (9060) is the only product possibly to maintain the tire surface. Any chemicals like oils, tractions are restricted.

(Engine)
- Engine must be T-15 (15101) with no modifications. There is no restriction of a plug.

(Muffler)
- A run of muffler non-equipped car is not accepted.


5. Savage Challenge

Other Specifications:
- Any modifications are acceptable. Exhaust system and own “Car Number” must be on one’s car.
- A car, sentenced “Dangerous!” by event organizer, must not be used.
- A driver puts the “Car Number” on one’s car. “Car Number” is a free format.


6. E-Zilla Challenge

(Parts)
- Any modifications are acceptable except motor and battery.
- A driver puts the “Car Number” on one’s car. “Car Number” is a free format.
- The car, which the race organiser judged “danger”, is not accepted.

(Motor)

Two Straight packed batteries (total 14.4v)
- It has to be sold widely and a manufacture company name must be shown.

(Connector)
- Change of connectors, such as amplifier, a motor, and a battery, and soldering are accepted.

(Car Number)
- A driver puts the “Car Number” on one’s car. “Car Number” is a free format.


7. Stage-D Challenge

Car Specifications:
Sprint 2 or Stage-D

Other Specifications:

(Parts)
- It can’t be used except the part made from HPI, Hot Bodies and team Orion. However, the following parts from other brands useable.
A tie rod (turn buckle), a rod end, a ball end, a servo saver, a screw, a washer, E ring, a nut, an antenna pipe, a body pin, a transmitter, a receiver, a servo, amplifier, the power supply for receivers, battery, weight, capacitor, the component for light kit, wires, various connectors, grease, oil, various tie laps, adhesives, component for body reinforcement, pinion, spur.
- Processing of RC parts is allowed as long as it keeps the original shape.
- The vehicles, which the race organiser judged “danger”, are not accepted.

(Body)
- Cut line. Cutting off the body rear etc. is restricted.
- One colored painting is not allowed. A car has to be designed or “Art Factory Graphics” decal must be used.

(Wing)
- Although change of wing is accepted, it must not be wider than the body width.

(Weight)
- More than equal to 1500g(without transponder)

(Tire, Inner)
- Use only controlled tires, inners (Wheel is not controlled parts). Processing of controlled parts is not accepted.
- HPI super cleaner (9060) is the only product possibly to maintain the tire surface. Any chemicals like oils, tractions are restricted.

(Motor)
Use control motor.

(Battery)
- 6 cells (7.2v)
- It has to be sold widely and a manufacture company name must be shown

(Connector)
- Change of connectors, such as amplifier, a motor, and a battery, and soldering are accepted.

(Spur and Pinion)
- Use Pinion Gear 28T(48 pitch) and Spur Gear 87T(48 pitch).
93T Spur Gear in Stage-D kit can not be used.
